I’m A Steam Roller (Marching Cadence)
Hope no one got their tents steam rolled?!?!? If you can tell me what’s going on here I’d love to add it to this post.
Like many military running or marching cadences the very best ones can be modified to an unlimited number of situations, locations, platoons and experiences. It sure is one of my favorite. If you know any additional verses drop a comment and I’ll add it on my next revision.

Great. This brings back memories of Basic Training, Ft. Dix, Sept. 1969. Nothing fun about it (being drafted, etc.), but time has mellowed me.

my team did this chant for our sports warm ups after we run and everything and i really like this part of athletics

I still remember this cadence from 1970. We sang it at the double time during Basic. My oldest son has retired from from the Army. We have shared some beer and this song.
